EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS...AS LOW PRESSURE SAT OVER THE WESTERN HIGH
PLAINS. LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE NEAR RECORD
LEVELS...RANGING FROM THE LOW TO MID 70S OVER CENTRAL KANSAS...TO
UPPER 50S OVER FAR NORTHEAST KANSAS. NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS
TIME OF YEAR ARE IN THE UPPER 40S TO LOWER 50S.

QUIET WEATHER WILL ENCOMPASS THE REGION TONIGHT...ALTHOUGH AREAS OF
DENSE FOG ARE LIKELY ACROSS MUCH OF IOWA...WITH PATCHY FOG POSSIBLE
OVER FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI. UNDER MOSTLY CLEAR
SKIES...OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP INTO THE 30S AND 40S FOR MOST
LOCATIONS.

ANOTHER RELATIVELY WARM AND BREEZY DAY IS ANTICIPATED ON
SATURDAY...WITH NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S AND 70S
