...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HOUGHTON AND
NORTHEASTERN ONTONAGON COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 300 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Bergland, or 15 miles southeast of Porcupine
Mountains State Park, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bergland, Rockland, Mass City, Nisula, Greenland, Norwich, Twin
Lakes, Donken, Victoria Dam, Echo Lake, Winona, Bob Lake, and Alston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
