...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Cedar River to near Pound. Movement was east at
45 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Marinette, Menominee, Stephenson, Cedar River, Daggett, Arthur Bay,
Wallace, Ingalls, Wells State Park, Carbondale and Birch Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
