...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR AN ICE JAM ON THE KUSKOKWIM RIVER IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 930 AM AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is expected.

* WHERE...The following area, Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...Until 930 AM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...As of Friday morning, flooding was reported due to an
  ice jam on the Kuskokwim River below Kalskag. The jam was
  impounding water and causing rises on the Kuskokwim River in
  Kalskag.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 928 AM AKDT, the breakup front had moved below Kalskag.
    Water was reported over the road that connects Upper and
    Lower Kalskag, closing the road to traffic.

  - If you live near or along the Kuskokwim River, stay alert and be
  prepared to take action.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
