...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  English River at Kalona affecting Johnson and Washington Counties

.Significant rainfall over the past 24 hours has resulted in flooding on
the English River at Kalona.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

...Flood Warning in effect until Wednesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The English River at Kalona.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 7:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 13.8 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this morning and continue rising
  to 15.8 feet this evening. The river will fall below flood stage
  Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At  14.0 feet, Agricultural land along the river begins to
  flood.
