Subject:  Changes in flood categories for stream gage near Trenton,
          Missouri on the Thompson River /TTZM7/

Effective at 1800 Coordinated Universal Time on November 7, 2017,
the National Weather Service will change the flood category stages
for the stream gage near Trenton, Missouri on the Thompson River.
Because of this change, starting on Tuesday November 7, 2017, Flood
Warnings and Flood Statements will reference the new category
levels.  This change is part of a recent re-evaluation of the flood
plain with local emergency managers.

The new flood categories will be as follows:

1. New flood stage is 27 feet above gage zero.  The previous flood
   stage was 30 feet above gage zero.

2. New moderate flood stage is 31 feet above gage zero. The previous
   moderate flood stage was 33 feet above gage zero.

3. New major flood stage is 34 feet above gage zero. The previous
   major flood stage was 37 feet above gage zero.
