Daily Hydrologic Activities Discussion

During the past 24 hours ending at 12z Thursday, showers and
thunderstorms occurred over most of the basin. The heaviest rain
fell across the southern half of Missouri where numerous locations
recorded amounts in the 1 to 5.5 inch range. Those reports follow.

Less widespread thunderstorm activity in Wyoming, South Dakota,
Nebraska and Kansas produced rainfall in the 1 to 2.5 inch range.

Amounts elsewhere in the basin were under one inch.

During the next 24-hour period ending at 12z Friday, showers and
thunderstorms can be expected in Wyoming, Colorado, the Dakotas,
Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and western Iowa. Some storms in Kansas,
Nebraska and South Dakota could produce rainfall in the 1 to 2.5
inch range. Rainfall across the rest of the area should generally be
be under one inch.
