During the past 24 hours ending at 7am CDT Saturday, most of the
southern part of the Missouri River Basin received measurable
precipitation. Heavy rain fell in central Kansas and southwest
Missouri, with over 2.5" in several locations, with widespread
amounts of an inch or more. In northeast Colorado and western
Kansas, there was a rain/snow mix that fell, with over 1.5"
of total precipitation recorded. Most of Nebraska had rain, with
the heaviest amounts recorded in central Nebraska, over 1.5".
Stations across the Missouri Basin that recorded at least 1.5"
of rain are shown below:

For the next 24 hour period ending at 7am CDT Sunday, light to moderate
precipitation is forecast across the central part of the Missouri Basin.
Stations in southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska, and northwest
Iowa are forecast to receive up 1.5" of rainfall. Colorado is also
expected to receive light precipitation, with amounts of 0.5" or less.
The rest of the Missouri Basin is expected to be dry.

Moderate flooding is occurring or forecast to occur at the following
locations:
  Vermillion River near Wakonda, SD
  Little Sioux River at Linn Grove, IA
  Platte River near Agency, Sharps Station, and Platte City, MO
  Missouri River near Glasgow, MO

Minor flooding is occurring or forecast to occur at the following
locations:
  Big Sioux River near Hawarden, IA and Akron, IA
  Little Sioux River near Spencer, IA and Cherokee, IA
  Ocheyedan River near Spencer, IA
  Grand River near Sumner, MO and Brunswick, MO
  Marais Des Cygnes River near La Cygne, KS, and Osawatomie, KS
  Osage River near Schell City, MO
  Missouri River at Nebraska City, NE, Brownville, NE, Rulo, NE,
     St. Joseph, MO, Atchison, MO, Sibley, MO, Napoleon, MO,
     Waverly, MO, Miami, MO, Boonville, MO, Chamois, MO, Gasconade, MO,
     Hermann, MO, Washington, MO, and St. Charles, MO

Within bank rises are also occurring and/or forecast for the
Missouri River and its tributaries in various locations in Missouri,
western Iowa, eastern Kansas, eastern and western Nebraska, and
southern South Dakota.
