The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Northwest Caldwell County in western North Carolina...
  Southwest Burke County in western North Carolina...

* Until 1015 AM EDT

* At 421 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated that Johns River near
  Arneys Store had risen out of its banks due to rainfall late
  Tuesday night. The gauge had not yet crested. Low lying portions
  of Johns River Road, as far upstream as the intersection of Wilson
  Creek and the Johns River, may be flooded. Other nearby roads,
  including Adako Road, Coffey Road, and Playmore Beach road, might
  also be flooded.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Heavy rainfall has caused appreciable rises on small creeks and
streams, possibly flooding low water crossings and farmland.
Remember, do not attempt to travel across flooded roads.

or landslides to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,

the specific location where it occurred.
