.DISCUSSION...
A strong Pacific storm system will bring high winds to the burn location
this afternoon. Despite cloud cover and some shower activity during the
afternoon hours, smoke dispersal will be excellent through the early evening.
A cold front will pass in the 6pm to 8pm timeframe, which will be
accompanied by a wind shift to the northwest as well as wind gusts
to near 50 mph. The heaviest precipitation will occur as the front passes
when some thunder will be possible. Temperatures will drop quickly behind
the front with some snow accumulation occurring before precipitation ends
around midnight. On Saturday, expect poor smoke dispersal for much of the
day with mostly sunny and cold weather. There may be a brief window of fair
dispersal between 1 and 2pm when westerly winds will maximize at 5-10 mph.
