...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

IN 1893, AN F2 TORNADO IN LOGAN COUNTY KANSAS KILLED TWO AND
INJURED SIX. THE TORNADO PATH WAS 6 MILES LONG.

IN 1993, RAINFALL OF 3 TO 4 INCHES PRODUCED FLOOD WATERS 3 FEET
DEEP OVER HIGHWAY 27, 2 MILES NORTH OF GOODLAND. WATER WAS ALSO 3
FEET DEEP AT 16TH AND BROADWAY IN GOODLAND, AND UP TO 6 INCHES OF
WATER FLOODED FOUR HOMES AND BUSINESSES.
