.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

The first round of strong thunderstorms has come to an end, but
elevated winds persist in the coastal waters as a meso-low
develops. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the nearshore
waters as a result through early Saturday morning. Additional
chances of showers and storms are anticipated through the weekend
in advance of a stalled frontal boundary situated further inland.
In addition, areas of sea fog are anticipated at times, but moreso
in the Gulf waters and extreme southern bays. Winds will
primarily be out of the east until the front finally gets a
southward push offshore late Sunday or Sunday night. Moderate to
occasionally strong northeast winds and building seas are
anticipated behind the front. Onshore flow resumes late Tuesday.
