Southern Union County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...
* Until 545 PM EDT.
* At 443 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Indian Land, or 4 miles north of Van Wyck, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Waxhaw, Mineral Springs, Jaars, Trinity, Sturdivants, and Marvin.
