This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central, South
Central and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few storms will be possible this evening for locations generally
along and east of the Kansas Turnpike. If storms develop, they will
have a chance to produce hail up to quarter size and 60 mph winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Storms will be possible Saturday night for parts of central and
especially northeast Kansas. At least some strong storms look
possible with this activity. Even though storms chances will remain
in the forecast, especially for central Kansas, the next chance for
more organized strong storms looks to be when a cold front passes
through Monday night through Tuesday.

Heat indices will be around 100 degrees Saturday afternoon and
early evening over southern Kansas and over southeast Kansas Sunday
afternoon and early evening.


Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
