Above normal temperatures prevailed across Kansas with the warmest
weather observed across southeast Kansas where highs climbed into
the upper 70s. Further north, a cold front bisected the state with
gusty northwest winds and temperatures only making it into the 50s.

The cold front will continue moving south and east across the state
overnight with gusty northwest winds ushering in much colder air.
There may be a few snow flurries over northwest Kansas while
scattered showers impact portions of southeast Kansas. Lows tonight
will range from the teens over northern Kansas to the upper 20s or
around 30 near the Oklahoma state line.

High pressure will build south across the area on Friday bringing
light winds and clear conditions. Highs will return to more
seasonable values ranging from the low 30s over northeast Kansas to
the mid 40s in southwest Kansas.
