Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
500 AM CDT Wed Mar 22 2017

Its been a cloudy and somewhat blustery night with northeast winds
from 10 to 20 mph and temperatures from the upper 30s to around 50.

Today, a surface trough will develop along the Front Range that`ll
cause northeast winds to slowly become southeasterly and increase.
The moistening southeast flow would help to induce a few showers
and isolated thunderstorms to develop over the Southeastern
Plains. The light rain will spread northwest across most areas
tonight as richer moisture continues its northward migration.

Highs primarily in the 50s are forecast for today, but with east
to southeast winds transporting increased moisture, tonight`s lows
will only settle to around 50 in most areas.
