Through 730 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
move north-northeast across the western South Plains into the far
southern Texas Panhandle. Rainfall will be mainly on the light
side, but some heavier downpours are possible along the Texas and
New Mexico state line and across Parmer and Castro Counties. In
these areas, up to 1/2 inch of additional rain may result in
ponding of water on area roadways.
