...Winter to Return Late Friday With Accumulating Snow

A strong cold front will move through the area Friday into Friday
night and usher in much colder air. Rain will changeover to snow
Friday evening, with snow showers lingering into Saturday. Light
snow accumulations, generally in the 1 to 3 inches are currently
expected across the area. With temperatures quickly dropping well
below freezing, icy conditions will likely develop Friday night
into Saturday. Colder weather and below normal temperatures

Monitor the latest forecasts for the end of the week and plan
accordingly. This winter storm may lead to longer travel times or
hazardous  and could impact travel as early as Friday evening in
some locations.
