This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will continue to fall over parts of the East Tennessee
mountains, Southwest Virginia, and Southwest North Carolina
early this morning before ending, then additional snow showers
will move into the Northeast Tennessee and the smoky mountains as
well as Southwest Virginia late today into tonight. Some
additional light snow accumulations will be possible.

In addition, a re-enforcing shot of colder air along will combine
with the wind to allow wind chill temperatures to be dangerously
cold across the higher elevations of the mountains tonight, with
values dipping into the single digits to below zero at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Another cold frontal system will move across the area Tuesday,
ushering in very cold temperatures with snow showers, especially
across the higher elevations. Once again, wind chills will drop
to around zero across the higher elevations Tuesday night. Wind
chills in the teens are anticipated in the valley.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter reports of snow accumulations will be needed.
