.NOW...
Through late afternoon, a cluster of thunderstorms will continue
to develop and move northeasterly at 15 mph over the far southwest
Panhandle. Areas between Farwell and Muleshoe, northeast to Friona
and Easter can expect the brunt of this activity with heavy downpours
at times, in addition to frequent cloud to ground lightning. Rainfall
rates may be as heavy as 1/3 of an inch in just five minutes with
some of these storms.
