...Strong gusty winds will continue into this afternoon...

Gusty winds will continue this afternoon across the region. West
to northwest winds may gust as high as 40 to 50 mph, with some
locally higher gusts, especially along elevations above 4000 feet.
With a wet ground, winds at this speed may topple some weaker
trees, which could lead isolated power outages. Winds speed will
decrease this afternoon as high pressure builds in from the west.
