central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and
southeast West Virginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain is possible Saturday
night through Monday. 2 to 4 inches of rain are forecast, and this
rain may lead to minor flooding on streams and creeks.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina
and south central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Very isolated thunderstorms are possible through the overnight
hours. There is a small chance of one or two of these storms
producing gusty winds or hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Thunderstorms Saturday may become strong to severe, with isolated
damaging winds and hail possible.

A prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain is possible Saturday
night through Monday. 2 to 4 inches of rain are forecast, and this
rain may lead to minor flooding on streams and creeks. There is a
low chance of river flooding along the Dan River if this amount of
rain does fall.
