CAROLINA...NORTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA...CENTRAL VIRGINIA...SOUTH
CENTRAL VIRGINIA...SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA...WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA AND
SOUTHEAST WEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON...LINGERING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...IN
ADVANCE OF A FRONTAL SYSTEM EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE REGION
TUESDAY MORNING. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING AND RESULT IN
LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. MINOR FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN AREAS
OF HEAVIER RAINFALL...ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND
LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY REPEATED THUNDERSTORMS IN A FEW HOURS. IN
ADDITION...A FEW THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME STRONG DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS. HOWEVER...WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS
WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
