Severe thunderstorms over south central and southeast Kansas
during the evening moved south into northern Oklahoma by midnight.
These storms then tracked eastward along and just south of the
border during the early morning predawn hours. Otherwise, it was
mostly clear across north central Kansas with temperatures in the
lower 50s and partly to mostly cloudy across the rest of central
and eastern Kansas with predawn temperatures in the upper 50s or
lower 60s.

A warm front will move northward today into central Kansas and
will be the focus for severe storms this afternoon and evening.
Severe weather is also possible further south to the east of a
dry-line across parts of southwest and south central Kansas into
western Oklahoma. Strong to severe storms will also be possible as
far north as southern Nebraska and as far east as eastern Kansas
and central Oklahoma.

High temperatures today will range from the 60s over northwest
Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa with 70s to lower 80s across the rest of
the heartland. Lows tonight will generally range from the 50s to
the mid-60s, except for cooler 40s in northwest Kansas and western
Nebraska.
