This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and tonight.

Storm chances increase across the entire outlook area from the
south and west in the early evening, becoming likely after
midnight. A few of the storms may be strong in the early evening
with small hail and gusty winds. Locally heavy rainfall is
probable through the morning hours over the outlook area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorms are likely Wednesday and Wednesday evening. Some may
be heavy at times, with the potential for localized flooding.
Rainfall totals by Thursday morning range from 1 to 2 inches,
locally higher. A few marginally severe storms will be possible
in the afternoon, especially along and south of Interstate 70.
Hail and damaging winds would be the main hazards.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
