CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

AN ICE STORM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE FORECAST AREA OVER THE
WEEKEND. LIGHT FREEZING RAIN ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS
OF THE AREA AS EARLY AS LATE FRIDAY MORNING...WITH CHANCES
INCREASING AND SPREADING ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA BY FRIDAY
EVENING. PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE FREEZING RAIN WILL INCREASE
SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY WITH TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM A HALF OF
AN INCH UP TO AN INCH BY SUNDAY. AN ICE STORM WARNING IS IN
EFFECT FOR FRIDAY...PLEASE SEE THE WARNING FOR MORE INFORMATION.
