This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Excessive Heat Warning goes into effect for the outlook area this
afternoon with heat indices from 98 to 106 degrees.

There is a chance for thunderstorms after midnight tonight, mainly
north of Interstate 70. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Heat indicies are expected to peak from 100 to 110 degrees
Wednesday through Saturday. An Excessive Heat Warning remains in
effect for the entire outlook area through Saturday afternoon.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
