Beginning Tuesday, October 24th, the KSRX WSR-88D radar operated by
the NOAA National Weather Service in Tulsa, Oklahoma will be down
for approximately 4 days for the replacement of several panels on
the exterior radome.  The entire radome will also be cleaned during
this time.

During the downtime, adjacent radars that provide coverage to the
region include: KINX Inola, OK; KSGF Springfield, MO; KLZK Little
Rock, AR; KSHV Shreveport, LA; KFWS Fort Worth, TX; and the TDWR
Broken Arrow, OK. For direct access to any of these surrounding radar

The KSRX WSR-88D is part of a network of 159 operational radars. The
Radar Operations Center in Norman, Oklahoma, provides lifecycle
management and support for all WSR-88Ds.
