Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure centered W and NW
of the area will move farther W and SW away from the waters
tonight into early Sun while weakening. Strengthening high
pressure will slowly build E towards the N and central California
coast later Sun and Sun night then expand to the N and NW of the
area Mon and Mon night, and persist into Tue night. The area of
high pressure to the N and NW of the area will weaken Wed into
Thu, and then restrengthen Thu night. A weak coastal low pressure
trough along the N and central coast will persist tonight,
strengthen over this region by later Sun into Sun night, and then
intensify further by late Mon through Tue night. The trough may
begin to weaken slightly Wed into Thu night.
