   ANZ500-122300-  331 AM EST Tue Dec 12 2017      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    An arctic cold front will pass through today. High pressure will  return for Wednesday. Weak low pressure will pass through the waters  late Wednesday night through early Thursday before high pressure  returns for Thursday night. Low pressure will develop as it moves  up the coast Friday and high pressure will return for Saturday. A  Small Craft Advisory may be needed for portions of the waters  Wednesday night and Thursday.    $$

Waves 5 ft.  WED NIGHT  SW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to 30 kt. Waves 4 ft...  subsiding to 2 ft after midnight.  THU  W winds 15 to 20 kt...becoming NW 10 to 15 kt in the  afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Waves 2 ft.  THU NIGHT  N winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts to 20 kt. Waves 1 ft.  FRI  NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 to 2 ft...building to 3 ft  after midnight.
