Heavy Rain in the Southeast; Severe Weather and Heavy Rain for Intermountain West and Plains

Slow moving convection in the Southeast may cause areas of flooding and flash flooding today. Out west, a low pressure system moving onshore will bring isolated severe thunderstorms to the western portions of the Intermountain West. Severe weather is also forecast across the Plains.
