A strong cold front travels across the Plains Friday, Great Lakes to Gulf Coast Saturday, then arrives at the East Coast on Sunday with areas of showers and storms expected. Cold high pressure in the wake of the front will bring areas of gusty winds and snow to the Rockies and Northern Plains Friday into Saturday.
