Extensive Severe Weather Potential and Tropical Storm Cristobal

Severe thunderstorms are expected from the central Plains into parts of the East today, especially in the Northeast and northern Mid-Atlantic, where damaging winds are likely. Tropical Storm Cristobal will remain over the Bay of Campeche and eastern Mexico the next few days.
