Severe Storms in the South; Wintry in Rockies and Northeast

A weather system will interact with the lingering frontal boundary in the Lower Mississippi Valley and Southeast to produce scattered thunderstorms. Primary severe threats will be large to very large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes. An upper low will bring heavy snow to the interior Northeast.
