ACROSS THE BAR...Swell can be more than twice as high across the bar than surrounding waters. Waves are also more prone to break, particularly during strong ebb currents. Maximum ebb current of 1.4 kt at 12:23 PM Tuesday and 2.7 kt at 01:23 AM Wednesday.
