Severe Thunderstorms in the High Plains; Excessive Rainfall in Florida; Heat Returns to the Southwest U.S.
Isolated severe thunderstorms with large hail and severe wind gusts will be possible today in parts of the central and northern High Plains. Heavy to excessive rainfall may bring areas of flooding beginning Tuesday and likely continuing into this weekend over the southern Florida Peninsula.
