Synopsis: An elongated 985 mb low 175 nm S of Amchitka moves 70 nm S of Atka at 970 mb by Thu morning and continues to 200 nm S of Sand Point at 964 mb by Fri morning. Its front remains over the Aleutian Chain before dropping south into the North Pacific by Friday morning.
