A Large and Slow-Moving Storm System with Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain

A large storm system will slowly track from the south-central U.S. into the East the rest of the week with strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rain with flooding. Today's threat for severe storms is across Texas toward the Arklatex and heavy rain with flooding from the south-central Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley.
