Synopsis: A 970 mb low 275 NM SE of Chignik elongates as it moves to 160 nm S of Island at 972 mb Fri afternoon. A secondary 963 mb low develops along its front 125 nm SW of Middleton Island Fri afternoon and moves inland on the Kenai Peninsula Sat.

ENE wind 30 to 35 kt decreasing to 25 to 30 kt in the afternoon. Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 9am. The rain could be heavy at times. Seas 11 to 13 ft.

Friday Night

S wind 20 to 25 kt increasing to 30 to 35 kt after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 kt. Rain, mainly before midnight. Seas 14 ft building to 20 ft.
