Synopsis: A 994 mb low 130 nm E of Middleton Island remains nearly stationary and dissipates this afternoon. A 967 mb North Pacific low elongates as it moves to 260 nm S of Sitkinak Island at 972 mb Sat morning. A secondary 963 mb low develops along its front 90 nm SE of Kodiak City Fri afternoon and moves inland of the Kenai Peninsula Sat morning. A series of fronts lift across the Gulf through Sat morning.
