Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ100-131630- 1017 PM CDT Wed Jun 12 2024 .SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure over the northwest Gulf will combine with weak low pressure over the Bay of Campeche to maintain a light easterly flow with generally low to moderate seas through Friday night. The high will strengthen slightly as it moves into the northeast Gulf and links up with a stronger high along the eastern seaboard Sunday and especially Monday, while low pressure slowly strengthens in the Bay of Campeche. The increasing difference in pressure will support an increase in easterly winds and long-period swells and seas beginning Sunday and especially Monday and Monday night. Small Craft Advisories may be needed Monday and Monday night for the combination of increasing winds and building seas. $$ GMZ130-132-135-131630- Laguna Madre from the Port of Brownsville to the Arroyo Colorado- Laguna Madre from the Arroyo Colorado To 5 NM north of Port Mansfield TX- Laguna Madre from 5 nm north of Port Mansfield to Baffin Bay TX- 1017 PM CDT Wed Jun 12 2024 .REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots, diminishing to 5 knots or less.
