Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
516 AM EDT Sun Sep 22 2024

Showers and thunderstorms moved south and east of the Commonwealth
after midnight, with cloudy skies lingering and areas of fog
forming. The fog was locally dense across central and western
portions, prompting a Dense Fog Advisory for most of the
Alleghenies through mid morning.

Despite the morning fog and plenty of clouds, today will be a dry
day for most of Pennsylvania. Easterly flow may bring bit of
drizzle to some central and eastern areas, but we do not expect
measurable rainfall to close out the weekend.

Sunday high temperatures will be quite a bit cooler than Saturday,
with highs ranging from the upper 60s through the mid 70s for
most. Lows tonight will be in the 50s to lower 60s.

More showers are forecast for Monday, and the combination of
clouds and rainfall will yield highs ranging through the 60s to
the mid 70s. Unsettled conditions and periods of showers and a few
rumbles of thunder should last through mid week.
