Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
405 AM EDT Sat Sep 21 2024

Weak high pressure over the region will give way to a series
of weak frontal systems into early next week. This will keep
a chance of a few showers and thunderstorms over the region
over the next several days.

Some of the storms later today could be on the strong to
severe side, mainly across western sections of central
Pennsylvania.

High temperatures this afternoon will range from the mid to
upper 70s for the most part. Far western Pennsylvania will
be warmer, with highs in the lower to mid 80s.

Lows tonight will range from the mid 50s to lower 60s.

The showers taper off tonight, with only an isolated shower over
southeastern Pennsylvania on Sunday. More in the way of cloud
cover will likely result in cooler temperatures on Sunday. The
warmest readings will be across far western Pennsylvania.
