Search site and General Ely Forecast - Mostly cloudy skies will prevail for tonight with 20-30% chances for light showers. Any rainfall amounts will be light and under 0.05 inches. Mostly cloudy skies continue for Tuesday with additional shower chances. An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out during the afternoon hours, with chances only around 10%. Dry conditions then take over Tuesday evening and persist for Wednesday and Wednesday night. Temperatures will fall into the 30s Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Winds Tuesday will be northerly at 6 to 12 mph with gusts to 15 to 20 mph before turning southeasterly Wednesday at 4 to 8 mph. Ely Visibility and Ceilings - Broken to overcast VFR ceilings are expected to persist at Ely over the next 24 hours. In addition to the low thunderstorm chance Tuesday afternoon, a brief period of MVFR ceilings or visibilities will be possible should a heavier shower or thunderstorm move over the airfield.
