Search site and General Ely Forecast - Low pressure responsible for the gusty west-northwest winds and ongoing rainfall/drizzle lifts northeast of the region this evening bringing an end to those conditions early tonight. The gustiest winds are expected to taper this evening by 2200 LT, while the light rain and drizzle ends by or shortly after Midnight. There is a less than 5% chance of any thunder or lightning strikes at or in the vicinity of the forecast site through 2100 LT this evening. Temperatures decrease to around 36-38 F by early Thursday morning and may create a light coating of frost on items and vegetation. Temperatures warm to around 60 F Thursday around the event site, with lighter northwest winds from 7-10 mph. There is a 10% chance of a rain shower after 1100 LT Thursday, but widespread or prolonged precipitation is not expected. Ely Visibility and Ceilings - Visibility greater than 6 statute miles is expected to prevail tonight and into Thursday. Ceilings are expected to be from 1500-2500 ft agl this evening before increasing above 3000 ft agl late tonight into early Thursday morning.
