.LONG TERM...
(Friday night through Wednesday)
Issued at 417 AM EDT Thu May 30 2024

Highly amplified ridge axis will be pushes east of CWA by Saturday
as weak disturbance approaches the CWA. Ensembles have continued the
trend of slowing down progression of weak shortwave that will bring
rain into the CWA on Saturday into Sunday. Probability of QPF > 0.1"
within both GEFS and EPS keep percentages < 20% across all but the
western sliver of Georgia until Saturday night, where they slowly
begin to tick up into Sunday. Moisture will continue to slowly
filter into the area through the rest of the long term allowing for
diurnal convection. Models show some hints at weak systems
progressing towards the CWA at end of long term, but hard to
pinpoint exact timing on any of these.
