.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
through the day on Thursday. QPF will generally be running around
a quarter of an inch or less with some locations receiving locally
higher amounts in stronger thunderstorms. Friday, a frontal
passage will bring a much drier airmass into the forecast area.
While minimum RH values will be in the 50s and 60s Thursday, the
drier continental airmass will drive relative humidities into the
30s to low 40s areawide. West winds Thursday will become
northwest on Friday at 5 to 10 mph gusting up to 20 mph at times.
Dry conditions will persist through Saturday evening when the
next weather system will bring more showers and thunderstorms to
the forecast area.
