.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Moist airmass remains in place across north and central Georgia.
Thunderstorms are ongoing this afternoon and will remain through
this evening, with a few persisting into the overnight. Chances of
severe weather are low. Total rainfall will be generally a tenth
of an inch or less, though locations under stronger storms could
see more. Min RHs will range from the 60s and 70s in north Georgia
to the 50s and 40s in central Georgia both today and tomorrow.
Winds will be from the S to SW, 3-8 mph today, near calm
overnight, then 5-12 mph tomorrow. Mixing heights will vary across
the state, from 2-3 kft in the north to 4-5 kft in central
Georgia. Transport winds will be 12-20 mph each afternoon today
and tomorrow. ADI values tomorrow will rise to near 100 in all but
the mountains of the NE, where they will be closer to 60.
