  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Ocheyedan River near Spencer.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Significant amounts of agricultural land
  are flooded and some county roads may begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM CDT Thursday was 10.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 8.1 feet Tuesday
    morning. This forecast will be heavily impacted by how much
    rain eventually falls.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, City sewers in Spencer can begin to back
  up. Highway 18 between Spencer and Dickens can start flooding if
  flows on the tributary creeks are also very high.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 14.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 12.0 feet Tuesday
    morning. This forecast will be heavily impacted by how much
    rain eventually falls.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
