Expecting more in the way of cloud cover across the region
today...with an area of scattered showers and storms looking to push
east with time. Winds turn more southeasterly with time...with
speeds reaching 15 to 20 MPH. High temperatures today are forecast
to reach the mid 70s for most locations. Later this
evening...especially closer to and after midnight...another chance
for storms will spread across the region...lingering into Monday
morning. Hotter temperatures are expected for Monday...with lower
80s in the north to around 100 degrees in the south. Along with the
warmer temperatures...winds will also be increasing...with southerly
winds of 20 to 30 MPH expected. Late in the day Monday and on
through the overnight hours...another chance for thunderstorms
returns...and some of these storms could be strong to severe.
Scattered storm chances are expected to continue on through the
middle of the week. Tuesday highs are again in the 80s and
90s...with slightly cooler temps on Wednesday in the mid to upper
80s.
