A hot start to the week is in store for the local area as afternoon
temperatures soar 10 to 15 degrees above seasonal norms. Along with
the warm temperatures...a small chance for a late afternoon or
evening thunderstorm is possible both today and Monday...and if a
storm develops...it will have the potential to be severe! Given the
atmospheric conditions...however...most areas are expected to remain
dry. A return to more unsettled conditions along with cooler
temperatures is expected for mid-week...with high temperatures on
Wednesday possibly not climbing out of the 60s in spots.
